the ‘pomodoro’ method
The ‘Pomodoro’ method is a way of working efficiently by combating procrastination. The following short video gives you an overview.

Brain in mode concentrated or difuse

Concentrated and diffuse modes of thinking as two fundamental states of the brain, essential for learning and problem solving. It is impossible to be in both modes simultaneously. They are alternative.

The organisation of repetition is fundamental

One of the most important findings of neuroscience is the way in which repetition is organised if it is to be effective.
You have to do repetitions that are spaced out. Several times a day, then after 2 days, then after 4 or 5 days, etc. That's how the neuronal groove will be created more deeply and the knowledge acquired more durably.
I did the test with my wife's telephone number (I'd never been able to remember it). By practising like this for a week, I've never forgotten it.
In the same way, in order to stay anchored, you then have to ‘ping’ the knowledge regularly. Otherwise, as the Ebbinghaus curve shows, knowledge weakens or even disappears (neurons disappear in the process of neurogenesis).

We therefore need to think about whether, for long sessions with several themes, it would be more effective to sequence each theme over several days with 2 themes per day rather than devoting one day to each theme and not returning to it...
